Since late 2021, we have been dealing with a "mild" #energycrisis in the #EU ironically right after completing #NordStream2. With this background, I participated in a topical panel, "Ways out of the energy crisis?" organised by DIIS- Danish Institute for International Studies. The title of my talk was "Activating people for a green energy transition in the Baltic Sea region". In response to a question, I argued that in parallel with other factors, e.g. unprecedented hot and cold weather and #COVID, we should not undermine the political factor in dealing and analysing the crises. Rather, the political factor is the backbone of the crises!
